Leila Sayed-Taha (Founding Attorney)

For the past decade, Leila has been active on issues pertaining to immigration, civil liberties and national security. She has worked with refugee and immigrant communities in the Middle East, the United Kingdom and the southwest side of Chicago, where she was previously based. She holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law and Criminal Justice from DePaul University, Chicago Illinois, a LLB in Law from Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom, and a certificate in International Humanitarian Law from the Hague Academy of International law in the Hague, the Netherlands.
